So, I am in Drawing 2 this semester, and it's a completely different take on a studio class, which petrifies me, but at the same time, intrigues me, for the simple reason that I have complete freedom to draw or create anything I could possibly want. The scariest part about that is the fact that I am so all over the place mentally that it will be super hard to narrow it down. The best part about that is I could do a body of work about anything in the world! I've already thought about it a lot since given the syllabus, and I'm leaning toward creating a number of pieces only using fine point Sharpie markers. It would be the biggest challenge, yet it would be interesting and exciting enough that I would want to work on it, to reach the final product. I'm obviously still in the brainstorming stages. We will see how this pans out. I'm pumped.
