Drawing 2: Brainstorming

I've spent the entire weekend brainstorming on and off about possible concepts for my body of work for the semester, and despite not having a concrete idea about "what" i want to draw, I know for a fact I want to do the entire thing in pen/Sharpie. That's about all I know at this point. I spent about three hours just thinking about how to approach this project total since last Wednesday. I didn't carry around my notebook as much as I usually do last week, which is probably why I don't know exactly how much time I spent thinking about it or researching it. I do know that I absolutely love working with black and white. I know that work done in pen has always fascinated me. I was thinking of getting a small Moleskine and doing daily drawings on each page for the entire semester, and having that be my entire project, but I'm not sure if that would be as high quality as I would hope it would be, however, skineart is one of my favorite blogs (my inspiration for that idea). It would be a cool study to see how my drawings evolved over sixteen weeks, yet it would take serious dedication. I'm looking forward to this process.
